Making social connections is key to adapting to a new life in a different country, TGIUK invites you to a social gathering, an opportunity to meet new people, explore some of the sights of London, and share your migrant story.

2019 has been an exciting year for TogetherintheUK. We kicked off our summer by hosting a successful event at the Migration Museum. An evening full of lively debate with a brilliant panel of speakers and invited guests who exchanged interesting views and shared experiences of migrating to the UK.

Our next up is one that you definitely won’t want to miss!

Come Join us on Saturday 28/09/19 for a day filled with fun, laughs and great company. We will meet up at outside the Royal Festival Hall,  the South Bank SE1 8XX. The nearest station is Waterloo.  At 2 pm, we will start a relaxed walk making our way down to Tower Bridge.  As we go, we will enjoy the Thames festival events along the riverside.

Please prepare yourself for 2 / 3 hours to enjoy the opportunities to grab a cheeky pint or a bite to eat along the planned route whilst we take in all the sites and sounds of the South Bank and of course, we would love to chat with you, find out your ideas and we will share more about TGIUK, like who we are as a team, our achievements and our vision.  Please feel free to invite as many friends as you possibly can.

Our vibrantly coloured T-shirts are for sale.  If you fancy one of them, please make a small donation of £15 which helps us to keep our project alive. We also have children’s sizes. Please let us know in advance of the walk your choice so that we can bring along the right size.
